Enrollment Page Assign to user

I have been unable to get the "assign to user" functionality work on the enrollment page (https://myJSS.com/enroll). The LDAP lookup works and returns a result, but if I select a username and then enroll it, the computer is assigned to the person who signed into the enrollment page, the the user selected in the LDAP lookup.

Has anyone gotten this to work?

Working fine on our iPads. Have not tried an OS X machine yet.

I have found this to be the case as well. It worked in iOS, not in OS X.

I'd like to give this a bump up - we're on 9.61 and cannot get this to work on OS X. Has there been any progress?

Does anyone know if this is still an issue with the 9.65 release?
