Hi All - I am looking to deploy a script to update a preference file during logon. The idea here is that the script needs to run when the application is not running, so logon seems to be the most logical approach. We leverage 802.1x wifi as our primary network connection, and as a result, most of our users logon with cached credentials. I've found that if I configure the policy to be triggered by login, freq, Ongoing, and 'Make Available Offline', the script does not run during cached logon. Additionally, I would really like this script to only run once per user, but offline availability is not available using this frequency. Perhaps I could add a login item to default users that removes itself after first run? Thanks for any help.
