ExtremeZ-IP and home Automount fails after jss 9.3 upgrade

Hi All,
We're using Extreme Z-IP to auto mount afp home directories in docks.
We will be transitioning away, but until now, it was filed under : It's working > low priority

Since our 9.3 upgrade (or some other event that I'm not aware of), the auto mount is broken.
Kerberos is ok, Go>Connect does not require authentication

It broke w/ 9.3, we then updated to Extreme Z-IP v8.1, still broke…

I have startup/login/logout hooks enabled (no change)

Sandy,

Just curious....

You said you're moving away from ExteremZ-IP. What are you moving to and why?

Thank you,

John

Hi John,
For our needs, we've only been using ExtremeZ-IP for AFP and mounting of home directories in Docks on Macs.

We're also a Google Apps for Ed school, which reduces our traditional storage needs.
To save on the cost, and also remove another point of failure, we have planned on pulling it out over the next year.

Nothing more annoying to me as mac sys admin then network services that only break for the macs…. this being one.
