Hi, I'd like to submit a request to have MCX settings created for Firefox
browsers. It's tedious having to constantly update dmgs with settings to
bookmark new urls and such.

I would think you'd need to make that request to Mozilla. MCX requires
.plist files and Firefox doesn't use them for preferences. :-(

Interesting. Just noticed that Greg Neagle has updated his "Managing

Customization Kit (CCK)".

It's not MCX, which I'd prefer, but it may be worth investigating.

This is true, the use json. However, it would be nice if something else
existed to manage the browser nonetheless. ;)

Create custom profiles with the SDK for Firefox then use a shell script to push them out, or maybe use Casper to FEU & FUT? I have not done this and have given up on managing firefox but that was the path I had started to look down.

Hey Tom, I actually am creating dmg files and pushing those out. I was
considering using a script but haven't done so. I will look into this. Thanks for the info.

I'd like to request a CLI for Casper Admin to index packages as part of my
nightly backup routine. Right now, I'm using up a considerable amount of
time indexing software since some of these packages are as large as 12GB.
