Hey folks,
My org used to use Windows Defender AntiVirus on our macs (we trialled it for a short time but eventually moved to Jamf Protect instead). A System Extension configuration profile was required to deploy WDAV onto our devices. When we moved on from WDAV, we de-scoped the configuration profile from devices, but the network profile remains on our older devices.

This hasn't been a problem until recently. We're now trialling Jamf Network Threat Protection, but the configuration profile to deploy NTP conflicts with the WDAV network profile/sysext. This has been confirmed by Jamf Support (conflicts with DNS settings), as well as proven on my own device - With the com.microsoft.wdav network profile enrolled, my device is not manageable/visible in Jamf NTP/Radar. Once I manually removed the wdav profile and re-pushed the Jamf NTP config profile to my device, it was now manageable/visible in the NTP portal.
I now want to force-remove the com.microsoft.wdav profile from our devices, but I'm unsure how this can be done. I'm finding other posts that force-removing system extensions from devices is not possible. Is this still the case? Is there a workaround?
Thanks in advance!
Andrew
