So, I figured someone out there on the list knows this...
The JSS Setup Utility only allows for a maximum value of 8gigs of RAM set to the JSS for TomCat. Well, I upgraded my server last night to 24gigs of RAM and I want TomCat to use at least 16Gig, if not more. How is this done? Do I have to edit a file?
Also, Jamf, please add this as a feature request in a future release of the JSS Setup Util. I would like to set the Max Packet size for MySQL and more than 8gigs of RAM to TomCat to any value I desire.
Thanks
Tom

Craig,
Yup, I agree that there may be reasons behind it, but I already know for
a fact my deployment needs more juice in the JSS. I have issues with
log files not being able to flush because they get larger than 16megs,
so I set my max packet size to 128megs using the MySQL GUI tools, but
you can also set this from the command line or something like
phpmyadmin.
I will drop their support an email.
Thanks
