Get notified for new application installed - application lifecycle management

Hi everyone, 

we are looking for a feature in Jamf to get notified when users install new applications. I appreciate it if you can share your experience if you already implemented this.

@solace_it AFAIK there is no built-in feature that will notify you when a new application is installed, but you could write an Extension Attribute that would check the install applications and note ones that were not part of your standard configuration.

I'm new to Jamf , I appreciate if you can help me to find out how to write an Extension Attribute that would check the install applications?

Yeah, as @sdagley mentioned, there's nothing built into Jamf that will alert you to when new applications get installed/added. You might want to look at some 3rd party product for compliance to get this capability. Jamf in itself is not an actual device compliance product. It can integrate with other compliance tools though. Maybe something like InTune can do this, though I'm not sure.
