Getting started to lead to training

How do I get started? I don't have access to a JAMF server/ environment to learn with and I need training.
But taking training without any underlying knowledge seems like an expensive gamble, especially if the idea is to get certified.

Please point me in a direction where I can get started and lead toward my first certification by Summer 2018.

Thanks.

If you take the training, and are a reasonably IT-savy person (intro helpdesk-level or above), you will pass the intro-level certification exam. The exam is not designed to have you fail, the course is designed to teach you what you need to a) work with JAMF and b) pass the exam.

Other than that... I'd just say figure out how to get your hands on a copy of the admin guide, read it, learn it.

+1 for admin guide. It's how I got started. Everything I've learned has been from here or google.
