Hello,

we deploy Google Chrome and we have an issue with the browser update.

When a user try to open the browser and try to upgrade (or when the browser try to update itself), the following promt prevent the update:
"GoogleSoftwareUpdate.bundle is an app downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?"

Thanks

I came here to see how to trust it also.

I suspect the PPPC utility will fix it.... but I have already trusted it on my own machine so it might be hard for me to test it just yet... but because its a .bundle

I was seeing this too. I believe it's caused by how you download chrome. I generally download just by going to google.com/chrome and am getting that same message. When I went to this site to download chrome for the enterprise I don't get the message.

@sandra_tiffany 's response has worked for me, I had been getting it using autopkg but the problem seems to have gone away when using the enterprise download (which has a pkg available anyway).
