Is it possible to grant a site user access to policies which do not have a site assigned? Basically, we want site users to see only their computers, but have access to all policies.
This is a similar issue to the Casper Admin access problem for site users. To get around that, we created an Admin group which has rights to Casper admin only and placed the site users in it. However, the same cannot be done for policies. I added full policy access to admin group but because the policies are assigned a site of "None." they cannot see them. And because multiple site assignments as well as an "all sites" option are not there, there is on recourse other than to create duplicate policies for all sites.
To be frank, I have found the security model in Casper 9.x to be almost unusable. I am glad they added it but it is just not usable in many real world scenarios.
