Heads up: Limited Networking knowledge here
Just reading through the high sierra white paper from JAMF, one line i was wondering is the part where it says it requires you must be connected to the internet during the upgrade. We are using Cyberhound, would this means student will be unable to upgrade via WiFi because it it requires student to authenticate first through the proxy? If the firmware upgrade happens during the actual install, there is no way student can authenticate to proxy? am i right?
We had issue before with DEP where we had to create an open WiFi just to get DEP to connect and download configuration without proxy authentication, would this be the same?
At the moment i am testing HS using Thunderbolt to ethernet.
