Image with Radius Wireless before logging in

How can one make the 10.8 image auto connect to Radius Wireless before logging in, so that users are able to authenticate over Wi-Fi. After authentication, it should switch to using their AD credentials to access the network. We would not like them to be able to stay on the radius connection.

Have you looked at creating a Configuration Profile and checking the "Use as a Login Window configuration" under Network settings with Casper? We've had mixed success based on OS version.

I have not, as I wasn't sure if this piece deactivated after logging in. For example, we don't want a student logging in and receiving the Radius network credentials because they're much less filtered and are used for our Board Member type of guests that are not here often enough to receive an Active Directory account. We need to be sure that it will not let them select the network from the Wi-Fi area and have it connect automatically; nor, if they login and the radius SSID shows up first, we don't want it defaulting to that.

This is a good idea, and anyone with prior experience, I would love to hear how this has worked out. Does this work so that it can be set to "upon login" remove the Wireless Profile?

We've been successful with at configuration window WPA 2 Enterprise profiles using both PEAP and CHAPv2.

We have a LEAP based WiFi system. All my attempts at implementing such a profile allows logins only if a user account already exists on the system. If not, login fails.
