I have 30 macs that are running an older version of Imovie. If I pull out the Imovie.app from my mac and package it with a policy to deploy it on those 30 will it upgrade to the newer version? Has anyone tried this?
It will if there's a valid AppleID to associate it with. There are many many threads regarding this under the heading MAS (Mac App Store). There are a multitude of way's to accomplish this. Most come down to how you manage your AppleIDs
