Is there a way to set a wildcard in a Mac App Store App so that it installs whatever the latest version that is compatible with that OS is? I'm trying to setup Xcode, and I had it set to 12.1 since that's the latest version, but obviously 12 isn't compatible with macOS 10.13, and so it downloaded the wrong version. It seems tedious to have to make multiple copies of an app and make sure you scope them all correctly.

What I do for this is go to developer.apple.com, sign in and grab the standalone download versions of Xcode for older OSs.
