How do you resolve an app that goes into this endless loop on an ipad? For example, you add Nearpod app to JSS and on ipad, you click on the Self Service app. You do see the app and you click the word INSTALL. The icon goes around and spins around but never goes beyond that. You don't see the app on the homescreen. The little wheel just spins and spins.

How do you stop the little spinny wheel? What is causing the Self Service app to let it spin and never complete the install?

There are several scenarios that could cause the behavior you’re seeing.

This would be something you’d want to get in touch with your Technical Account Manager to further troubleshoot as we’ll need to take a look at a few different log files to pinpoint the cause; as log files tend to contain identifying or sensitive information, they are not something we’d want to post to a public forum.

You can get in touch with your Technical Account Manager by either giving Support a call, sending an e-mail to (it gets routed to their case queue), or by using the My Support section of JAMF Nation.
