I was using a self signed certificate from JAMF and would get the "this site isn't trusted" when I navigated to my URL. I reached out to our internal CA team "Entrust" to get a valid cert so that we don't get that message when logging in. I've uploaded the new cert and it works fine when we go to the URL via Chrome, FireFox etc. However, when I run sudo Jamf recon I get the error " The Jamf binary could not connect to the JSS because the web certificate is not trusted". I was told by JAMF that it's best to use a valid SSL cert vs self signed but the new cert doesn't seem to work. Has anyone used an internal cert for JAMF before? Or does anyone know how I can get past this?
