Hey everyone,
I didn't manage to connect our Macs to our wifi network that is using 802.1x authentication at Jamf Connect login window !
Our Macs are not binded to AD and we would use user credentials.
Can you shed some light on how to configure it properly to make it work?
Thanks in advance

Unfortunately, it's simple, you don't. Everything is working as intended.
Apples general direction is machine authentication with certificate rather than user auth. JAMF has not added any functionality for this workflow with JAMF Connect.

We ended up not using Jamf Connect because I couldn't find a satisfactory answer to this issue. Unfortunately, but for understandable reasons, it doesn't play well with user-based 802.1x wifi networks.

This sucks. We just went live with Jamf Connect. And because we'd been using an enrollment network while mass-provisioning the devices, now I get to tell people "just click Local Login and then sign in when prompted" until we come up with a solution. Hate this.
Has anyone had success with profiles that switch users from one wifi network to another? Maybe we can scope an SSID with a staff-only PSK that users can select at login and then a profile will switch the end user to the user-based 802.1x network?
