Hey Jamf Nation!
The Jamf Pro 10.25.0 beta contains quite a few new features, fixes, and enhancements that we are excited to share with you!
Application and Custom Settings Payload for Computers
You can now configure Jamf applications, e.g., Jamf Connect, with an improved workflow, using the computer Application and Custom Settings payload. This allows you to manage the configuration outside of Jamf Pro releases.
Automatically Install the Privacy Preferences Policy Control Profile for Jamf Applications
You can now automatically install the Privacy Preferences Policy Control profile for Jamf applications, navigate to Settings > Computer Management > Security and select the relevant option for Jamf Connect and Jamf Protect in the Automatically install a Privacy Preferences Policy Control profile setting. These settings are not selected by default.
New EA templates for Jamf Connect and Jamf Protect
Templates for computer extension attributes now include the "Jamf Applications" category with templates that allow you to easily track Jamf applications specific data in the inventory for computers when your environment integrates with Jamf Connect and Jamf Protect.
Additional Reporting Capabilities for Mobile Devices: Time Zone
You can now create smart groups and advanced searches based on a device's time zone.
Additional Reporting Capabilities for Computers: Bootstrap Token Allowed
You can now create smart groups and advanced searches based on Bootstrap Token Allowed on MacOS 11 or later
Shared iPad User Removal
You can now use Jamf Pro to remove individual users or all users from an iPad enabled as Shared iPad
As always, there's a lot more to this release which is covered in the release notes!
