JDS problems after upgrade

Hi all,

a few days ago I updated JSS to the last release, and then I tried to update also the version of JDS from 9.92 to 9.96. To do this I launched the JDS-Linux-Installer-9.96.run from my ubuntu 12.04 server and followed the wizard (this JDS instance is the master distribution point and there is also a slave one on a mac osx server). At the end I wasn't able to re-enroll the jds (it is already installed) so I forced quit the bash script.
Now If i try to upload a pkg both from the web of casper admin it is not uploaded to the JDS (the pkg is noticed as missing closing and reopening casper admin). It seems that the record is created in the db but the file isn't actually uploaded to the server
What can I check?
What went wrong?

if I run a jamfds policy I get an error:

administrator@jds:~$ sudo jamfds policy
[sudo] password for administrator:
Could not parse the policy response from the JSS

Thanks in advance for any suggestion!
