Hello all,
We are looking at rebuilding our JSS server(s) this summer from scratch (preserving db of course - already at version 9.92). Has anyone had any issues with the following software matrix? :
Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.5
MySQL Community Server 5.7.13
Java SE Development Kit 8u92 + jce_policy-8
JSS 9.92
Many thanks for your input.

MySQL 5.7.x is still not recommended by JAMF. We just set up a new JSS with MySQL 5.2.28.

MySQL 5.7 is still not recommended or considered fully compatible with the JSS, so I would not recommend using it.
If you do choose to go with MySQL 5.7, and you end up experiencing performance issues with the JSS, the first thing support is going to recommend is to downgrade to MySQL 5.6, and we cannot guarantee we'll be able to get your JSS working as expected with MySQL 5.7.
The only supported versions of MySQL as of 9.8 are 5.5.x and 5.6.x.
This is also noted in our documentation, though the documentation for 9.81 contains an error and does not note this (it was fixed in the documentation for 9.82).
Thanks!
