We recently enrolled several hundred iPads in our JSS. A parent called today to ask if Casper might be running constantly in the background and drawing a lot of data. She has two daughters with school iPads, and both are drawing a lot of data on their home wifi, which is through Verizon wireless. They are only a few days into their new data cycle and have already used nearly all of the paid data for their plan. She has her daughters shutting wifi off once they get home, but still went through a Gig of data over the weekend. She wondered if our Casper software might be running in the background, even if they aren't accessing Self Service, and using data. Does anyone know if the application does this?
