Language files

Does anyone bother with removing application-specific language files
post-imaging? I disabled language files for the OS, but I ran CleanMyMac
which showed 1.67 GB of language files, stored in each application. I'd
love to free up that space, if possible, but I don't want to have to run
CleanMyMac or a similar tool on each machine.

Other applications may behave similarly. Office's installer does offer the
ability for you to customize the install and not include the extra
language files beforehand.

While 1.67GB may seem like a lot of extra stuff, in today's world with
hard drives coming in at no less than 120GB+, is removing these files
really necessary anymore but for extreme cases?
