LDAP Can test User Mappings, User Group Mappings, but not User Group Membership Mapping

Been working on this for ages and not getting anywhere.

I am able to correctly test the user mappings, and the user group mappings. It sees both of those from my AD. However, I cannot map a user to a group membership.

These are my current settings:

I've matched everything from the server using Apache Directory Studio but still no dice.

Any ideas?

yep we found that too when running through the initial wizard. just continue on, as long as it can resolve the users and groups that means LDAP is working. after you complete the wizard you can go back into the LDAP config section and see if it searches correctly

could be a problem in casper

Check your Search base in the user group mappings tab.

Hello there,
I got the same problem when initially set up JSS. I can test users and groups, but not if a user is in a group.
We have a AD on a Win 2012R2 server. I have the membership location on "Group Object" and the tribute is member. On the AD I can see this with the ADSI Editor.
Is there any solution for this?

Best regards
OH

I ended up having to create the traditional "Group" objects in the AD to reflect the Organizational Units we had set up. For some reason, JSS could see the OUs, but wouldn't link them to the users.
