License request feature in Self-Service

Curious if its possible or been requested the ability to request a license in Self-Service. Essentially staging all available apps in self service with the option to "Request". This would then fire off a ticket to whatever ticketing system is being used letting the agent know what user has made the request. Once approved, that download would begin.

There may be a fair amount of moving pieces to this, but given whats currently possible it doesn't seem too far fetched.

Curious if anyone else would benefit from something like this or similar.

I have not ever really considered what you are describing, but we have something internally set up that basically takes care of all of this. user requests software through our request page, once approved for the license, they are added to an AD group that the software is already scoped to in self service. this is also adaptable if you have any other management software for Windows devices. we will put users in "photoshop cc" group regardless of OS/management system, because it really doesn't matter, as long as the user is in the AD group
