Is there any way to determine which are backwards compatible and which are Lion specific in the JSS (when adding MCX's).

I have submitted a request to JAMF to document this for ALL managed preferences. We need to know which MCXs apply to which versions of Mac OS X.

Yeah I am totally lost here at what to do. Also with the resource tool kit what is new and changed and what isn't. I didn't want to have to click through everything and check change logs.

They could do this with the templates they provide but those are just a
handful of all the MCX settings you can apply.
Funny, if I search for "MCX Repository" on Google the first message I see
is from this list looking for an MCX repository. That would be a nice
online collaboration project for somebody to set up for all Mac
administrators. While I appreciate the Google Code Manifest Destiny
project, it just doesn't seem to have any drive behind it.
