We are using Casper Imaging 8.64 and no matter which system I use (10.7.5 Base or 10.8.3 Base) the casper management user is showing up unhidden. I know I can hide it with a script after the fact, but anyone know why this is happening?

So, not to ask the terribly obvious, but you did choose the option in Admin for this Configuration to hide the management user, correct?

But of course...
This just stopped working since I've added pkgs to install during initial reboot.

Odd. I do the same, but I've never witness the management user not hiding. Is that user account leveraged in any other way, or invoked in scripting, etc?

Having the same issue also

I've reverted to popping in a script to hide it.

I am having this issue as well. 10.8.2 OS build and 8.7 JSS/Casper Suite.

Is the account UID lower than 500, and is "~" for the user not in /private/var/ ?
Just curious, I'm guessing either or both are "no"?
