Manual Install on RedHat 7 & server.xml issues….

I’m doing a manual install of the JSS on Redhat 7 with Tomcat 8.0.

I’ve edited the server.xml and included our SSL certificate and navigating to the JSS URL indicates that at the SSL cert is being used however the JSS WebApp isn’t showing the cert as being installed. After speaking with JAMF, it believed this could be due to a know Product Defect.

I’ve now gone to edit the Load Balancing options within the JSS but I get the following error:
"Could not update Tomcat's server.xml file"

I’ve check and the user running tomcat has permissions to write to the server.xml file. I’m now wondering if the 2 issues are related?

So I manual install on AWS linux with Tomcat 8.5. The certificate in pfx format and I just incuded it in the server.xml. It works but has NEVER shown up in the Web app.

Also what are the permissions on your server.xml?

bump to seeing this... I went as far as 777 the server.xml just to see if it helped. Did you get it working?
