We are deploying a webclip to iPads that resolves to the web portal for our EMR to connect video visits. When using the webclip and allowing microphone and camera for video visits, if you minimize the webclip/visit, the microphone AND camera both temp disable until you maximize the webclip again. I understand the camera, but hoping that camera would still work. On the exact same device if you visit the webportal by opening Safari then clicking on the favorite (instead of webclip on homescreen) the microphone continues to work when minimizing the visit in Safari. This is the behavior we'd prefer right now, but not understanding why the webclip behaves differently, or how to apply the right thing to allow it.
Any guidance would be awesome!
