If you are having problems with NetBooting the latest Mid 2012 Apple Hardware. Check to see if you are hosting it on OS 10.7.2 Server. I have found that 10.6.8 and 10.7.4 will netboot the hardware with out any issue but if you are on 10.7.2 it will see the advertised NetBoot option but will fail to initiate NetBoot and boot to HD.

+36If the NBI wasn't made off the new hardware, not surprised. :) Mid 2012 MacBook Pros come with 10.7.4 but higher build level than the public had access to.
But....
If you wait for 10.7.5 to be released (to public, or to the dev cronies), it'll work fine. ;)
