If we uncheck allow modifying account settings, how can students see if their icloud drive and backup is on?
We are using managed apple id's. I do not want to allow students to sign out of their managed apple id, but I need students to be sure their icloud drive is on.

Modifying account setting is off, but need to see backup and icloud drive info

We monitor icloud backup history with a smart group - last back in X days. If we have an issue we briefly uncheck allow modifying account settings and then flip it back on. Currently we are dealing with an issue that seems to be related to iOS 12 and/or the ability to block updates. Most of our devices stopped iCloud backup from running until a new Terms and Conditions was agreed to. Students did not seem to get prompted for this until we allowed account settings to be modified. Oddly a few were running without issue.
