Mounting Network Drive Share

Hello,

I have a Drobo network drive share with a username and password that I want to mount on the desktop via smb on several Mac labs.

I am trying to figure out a zero-touch way to run a script in Jamf Pro that automatically mounts the share at login, and periodically checks to make sure it is mounted while the Mac is in use.

I am taking a look at this post using Autofs: http://blog.grapii.com/2015/06/keep-network-drives-mounted-on-mac-os-x-using-autofs/, but haven't gotten it to work yet. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Have you considered NoMAD or Jamf Connect? They both have drive mapping capability included.
