we are re-imaging a few Macs and some that are being sold. However we noticed after checking the systems, the netbios names still reflected some of our old naming conventions. (some were ad bound, some weren't)
We tried PRAM and SMC resets and even erase and installs again, and no luck.
Any idea on how to remove or reset the NetBIOS name? We tried using a command line, it shows up in terminal fine but when in system preferences > network > WINS it still shows the old netbios name
