For some reason Mt. Lion doesn't seem to be playing with our SUS Appliance. I keep getting error
"An error has occurred"
"The operation couldn’t be completed. (NSURLErrorDomain error -1100.)"
When I poked around in the appliance I noticed that there is a Mt. Lion catalog listed and this same SUS appliance is working fine with Lion and Snow Leopard. Any thoughts? I haven't seen anything on Software Update Server posted by Apple or anyone else at this point so I don't know If it is just me or if this is just an area that hasn't been fully explored at this point.

Getting the same error..
We are running a 10.6.8 SUS and 10.8 clients. We are using Configuration profiles to push out the catalog URL. I have tried both:
index-mountainlion-lion-snowleopard-leopard.merged-1.sucatalog
and
index.sucatalog
With mixed success.. some seem to work.. cant really pin down the cause of the error yet.. let mw know if you make any headway.

@techmchs, care to share you swupd.conf and swupd.plist files? I have a 10.6.8 SUS and configured it accordingly to serve 10.8 updates (I think), but continually get that error message.
I'd like to be able to verify that at least my SUS settings are correct. I am able to mirror 107 and 108 updates from apple.

I'm also seeing the same issue:

Running Software Update from the GUI or command line manually works just fine. However, JAMF is unable to trigger clients to get the current software updates.
