new purchase app not showing on managed distribution

Hi there,

I hope this message finds you well. I purchased a few apps from Apple School Manager earlier today. I can see the number of available apps was increased in manage licenses. I also received an email from the Apple Store that mentions Your recent VPP purchase is available. When I go back to mobile device apps on Jamf Pro, the number of apps in managed distribution did not increase. I checked, and no certificate was expired. Every certificate is still active. Please kindly advise on this case.

Many Thanks,

Jonathan

Did you assign them to your Jamf Server in Apple School Manager?
I have multiple MDM's in my Apple School Manager, and Licenses can be assinged to any of them, I have to choose the right Server to send the licenses to. I have picked the wrong server many times. You can simply use the Transfer button in ASM to move the licenses to the right server.

What Paul said.  How many MDM options do you have in ASM?  Did you pick the correct one?  Also, another way to check is to manually add the application by clicking the "+ NEW" button in JAMF, searching for the app, adding it, and clicking on the "Managed distribution" tab and selecting the checkbox.  Your licenses should appear there if you chose the correct MDM to assign the licenses to.

I know there were some outages with ABM/ASM a few weeks ago. It's all up now.

Thank you all for your support. After reviewing the JAMF Server log and Volume Purchasing (VPP) log,  identified clear indications that the Volume Purchasing service token had been revoked by the server, which disrupted the communication between Apple School Manager and Jamf Pro. The expired token prevented the proper synchronization of license information and app distribution capabilities. Does anyone have the same experiences?
