Newbie Question

I am under time pressure and am going to place all of the requested iPad apps into SelfServe. Then, after I know what serial numbers are on the devices allocated for each class/grade, I will create Smart Groups.

My question is this: Do I need to Scope particular apps one by one to say that the apps should go to "All Mobile Devices" if I have already established Self-Serve?

Also, I'm wondering if I do have to that Scoping one at a time for the different apps -- if I do need to do it.

Are you using VPP managed licenses here, or codes, or just distributing free apps?

Thank you for responding. This year we are distributing free apps and are also pushing out the Securly filtering system through Casper.
