OS X compatibility issue.

Not applicable

I have the same OS on the composing computer as the clients. (10.6.8).
Some of the packages composed give me an error after installation of the
app. It saysŠ."check with the developer to see if this version is
compatible with the version of OS X."

Any thoughts?

That's kind of a generic error from the Apple Installer when it couldn't

install something. Could mean many things. Adobe applications when
packaged with AAMEE, for example, don't like to install sometimes when
other Adobe applications are running.

Try installing your package while at the login window or as a policy when
a user logs in and see what happens.

Could be in your process of making the packages. Are they packages from vendors? Any errors in the jamf log? Did they work previously or are they all new ones? What are the apps?

Does the package leave a receipt? Check the installer log to see how far it gets.
