While testing logging on and logging off I stubled onto the following issue:
While logging on with a Mobile account using Active Directory credentials and then disconnecting wifi or pulling out the ethernet adapter (simulation network loss) and finally logging off, the mac seems to hang on a white screen and no longer reaching the login window.
When I dismount the shares before logging off this problem does occur.
This only happens while network shares are mounted and the users are logged in with a active directory mobile account.
I've tried unmounting the shares with a script in a policy (policy is available offline) that runs on the logoff trigger but it looks like the mac hangs before it has a chance to run the loggoff policies.
I've experienced this on OSX 10.8.5 and 10.9.5.
Has anyone else run into this behavior?
