Hoping someone can help out here with a Casper Remote/Policy issue related to the deployment of Prey 0.5.3.
I am attempting to install Prey on a fully-patched 10.6.8 MacPro1,1 - via either .pkg or .dmg - and neither is working when using Casper Remote or a Policy. Each attempt results in a "the package path specified was invalid" error. I saw a previous discussion regarding this error, and per the suggestions, I re-applied the POSIX permissions on my Casper share point. This did not fix the problem.
I can install the software by running the .pkg on the test computer manually.
