I know this is a long shot, but does anyone know if there is a way for a script being called by a policy to actually know which policy is running it? Or I guess which policy downloaded the script to the client?
I think the answer is probably "no", but thought I'd ask in case someone knows of some trick to do that. If I could even pass the script the policy ID that's running it, I could then use that to grab the name from the API. I just don't know if there's a way though, outside of assigning it as a parameter to pass to the script.
I looked at the jamf runScript verb to see if there was anything there, but it has no options for that, as I expected.
