So after hours and hours of mapping a TON of network printers and creating polices and putting them in self service I get an email from our server systems team.... "Hey we have a new print server... Everything is migrated over.... Let us know when you have everything done in JAMF so we can shut down the old one!!"
I mapped everything to the print sever name.... Print.company.com can I just go in to the JSS and edit the print.company.com with newname.company.com or even just use the IP of the server? Or am I going to have to individually redo each printer and add it via Casper admin?
we have about 12 different make and model printers with different options and they vary from room to room so scripting might be hard.
Any thoughts?
