Hi,
I have problems with signing the quick add package of the user initiated enrollment.
I did these steps:
a) I created a certificate request with my email address and a common name of "Jamf QuickAdd Package Certificate".
b) On developer.apple.com I signed in with my account and went to the certificates there.
- I selected "macOS" in the upper left corner
- I pressed + to get a new certificate
- I tried "Mac App Store" and also "Developer ID"
- In the following page, I tried "Application" and "Installer"
c) The created certificate was downloaded (,cer file)
d) I double clicked the certificate and installed it.
e) I exported the private key as p12 file (without a passwort) and uploaded it in the user-initiated enrollment settings of macOS.
=> When I download the package, I still get the message, that the package cannot be opened because it comes from a non trusted developer.
What am I doing wrong?
I am using a jamfcloud.com instance running JSS 9.99.2.
Thank you in advance for your assistance / help.
With kind regards,
Konrad

Today it worked for me. I cannot tell what made the difference.
The Certificate that must be used is the Developer ID -> Installer certificate (as I thought already).
Maybe it was a problem that I exported the certificate from my store without a password? (This time I entered a password)
Or the problem was that changed the common name? But that shouldn't matter from my experience.
But as I said: Today everything worked fine without any problem and I don't know why it didn't work in all my other tries.
With kind regards,
Konrad
