the assimilation of iOS into Mac OS X includes profile management in XML form just like you can do with iPOS devices.
been setting it up, your profile server has to be a OD master, and it seems to be able to still use the SL OD for accounts as well, which is interesting.
and since I had vpn and mail setup on the server already it added those to the default for everyone settings automatically.
I was going to try to import a profile, but my Lion client that has been sleeping is now sleep walking, and getting rebooted because of its doggedness.
But essentially it sounds like this is a replacement or another way to do MCX, wondering if Casper is doing this instead of MCX? Have not had a chance to look at my 8.2 download to see what its doing…
