Push Files To iOS (jpg, doc, pdf, etc)

Hello everyone,

I am considering purchasing Casper Suite to manage a group of iPads and I have been trying to determine if this feature is supported before I make my decision. I have not been able to get a clear answer from anything I've read online or by contacting JAMF directly.

I would like to know if it is possible to push a file with any extension directly to an iPad that could then be opened with any app that could handle that extension type. Here is an example situation. I have a room used for meetings that houses 30 ipads. I would like to send out new documents every week to the iPads and then when the meeting begins everyone can simply open the app on iPad and the documents are already there without needing to go online to download them manually. If this is possible, can it also be setup to run on a schedule?

Thank you for your time.

Not really. It can deploy eBooks and PDFs but thats not quite the same.

For what you are describing, I would use something like Dropbox. You could setup a free account, add the app to the iPads and use a computer to upload new content.

You should still get Casper though ;)
