Pushing big iBooks with Self Service to the iBooks.app

Hi
When I have a rather small .iBooks file I can easily make this accessable with the Self Service Clip and user can load it into their iBooks app on the iPad. But if the file is 100MB or more the window to "Open in "iBooks" appears but clicking the button doesn't work (see video: https://weboffice.anykeyit.ch/_-wIuUQ_T1_Ah8R).

When I click on "Open in …" I can select iBooks and the app opens but the book is not there :-(

Am I the only one with this problem or can others reproduce this?

With best regards, Tobias Linder

It can take several minutes. Especially if you're using iPad 2's. Press the "open in" button once and only once. If the file is several hundred MB it might be worth restarting the iPad prior to importing and making sure iBooks is already open when you're loading the file in mobile safari.

I thought it didn't work as well when we loaded our first 200+ MB iBook but you just have to be patient.

Dear Stoneacheck
Thanks for your answer. Too bad that this just doesn't work for me here. I was patient for 2 hours. The iBooks app opens but no book there :-(
