Putting a JSS on Windows Server 2012 R2, yes/no?

edit: this posted multiple times, please comment on the first one, thanks! and sorry.

We are looking to put an external JSS in the DMZ and one of our options is a VM running Windows Server 2012 R2. Does anyone have any experience with this? I noticed a few posters from early last year (Jan 2013) tried out 2012 with no major issues, have you guys moved up to R2?

My background is all Mac, so any advice or recommendations will help.

Thanks!

Hi Jennifer. All of our JSS and DP's are on Win servers. I know zilch about them, but we have managed to keep things running well and have done a few upgrades to Casper as well with no issues. The servers are enterprise HP units and are maintained by the enterprise server teams. We manage the Casper bits and have had no troubles at all. I believe our JSS is on R2 (started on R2) and the DP's vary by region. HTH.
