Please correct me if I'm wrong, it seems to me that Config Profiles only run one time, when configured/imaged, vs. the regular Profiles run at the specified trigger (e.g.... if set to "Recurring" and "Ongoing"), yes?
By "regular Profiles" do you actually mean "Policies"? Also, using the term "run" when discussing Config Profiles isn't really accurate. Its more like "installed" since they get applied and remain on the Mac as long as you don't have anything that is removing them. Config Profiles are really the new MCX from the old days - applied local settings that stay in place and are always active until they are removed or replaced in some fashion.
