We are using ADCS so the client is requesting a certificate based on the account name and fullname on the client so it matches the AD. However, we have a lot of random user accounts created on macs by users given all sorts of both account names and full names(as things where not managed before).
So do any know of a usable script for renaming the account and fullname. Would makes most sense if user get prompted to enter fullname and initials and this then overwrite the existing values, and you could probably do a renaming of the homefolder in the script also. The script should then propably be run when the user signs out, as I don't think it is possible to do a rename of the account name when the user is logged in ?
