Hi, in setting up our intense of Casper, we normally undergo a process of testing the backup and restore process and we're having issues with restoring the JDS.
Our JSS and JDS coexists on the same system.
We seem to have a grasp of restoring the JSS portion using the JSSDatabaseUtil.jar
However we are having some problems with the correct way to restore the JDS.
When we reinstall the JDS via JDS-Linux-Installer-9.31.run, after restoring the JSS database, we end up with two instances of JSS in the admin console, one that was restored from the database, and one that was created when we reinstalled the JDS. What we end up with however is that we are unable to add or update packages.
How would one normally go about restoring the JDS properly?
