Hi everyone,
I am working in a airline company. Each pilot has an iPad for operational purpose (charts, documentation, flight plan, ...). They have a SIM card to grant access and upload the needed data. The fact is, we have a limited coverage with our SIM contract to Europe countries only. So when pilots are outside the covered countries, we get some (expensive) overages. Pilots sometimes forget to turn off the cellular or they are not aware of which countries are covered or not.
Is there a way to restrict the cellular data roaming by position of the iPad ? In that way, I could set up a particular geographic zone within they can have a free access to the data needed by their SIM card and outside this area they will need a WIFI connection.
Thanks for your support !
