Looking for ways to push OS updates to users i tried nudge way to hard to setup for a novice user, so i tried the JAMF Pro software update and i get the ScheduleOSUpdate Missing 'ProductKey' error every time i try a Minor or Major update any other way to push the updates? or fix this error

while this is not over complex, you do need to understand what it is doing (test test test) and the name is historic.. its can erase, but it also can update:

DDM requires macOS14 to work reliably, even then it's not 100%.

What update are you trying to do ?

By design OS updates are user driven, hence nudge and other solutions. You can use the software update payload in Config Profiles to get the update downloaded and prompt for install.

But you will probably need to send comms / engineer some kinda dialog with Nudge, Swift Dialog or JAMF Helper..

Fully automated update with ScheduledOSUpdate ive found to be about 80% reliable, but don't forget it will after many many warning reboot the device and update, even if there is unsaved work..

I have some remote user that are only in the office once a month and are still on 11.7 and we are not allowed to make the Mac users local admins to it a fight to update the Mac OS when they are in the office so i am trying to find a way to remotely do the updates
